Phrase Wanted, Prizes for Creativity

My relay team (the A-Team) needs some sort of catchy phrase or slogan we could put on say... a tee shirt. It would need to be some sort of play on words, you know A-Team.. something running related. Yeah I've got nothing. That is why I am begging for help. I know you are all creative lets hear some slogans people. If we end up using your slogan, well there might just be a sweet treat with your name on it. If that's not incentive, I don't know what is.

Multiple Inner Dilemmas, need Advice

So I rarely post my inner thoughts on my blog, but I feel like I just need someone to tell me what to do. So here are my thoughts, feel free to tell me what to do.
Dilemma #1.
New York on a Young Women's trip, or Les Miserables with Lee. So for $300 dollars I can go to NY with the YW and the YW leaders to go to the temple, and see 2 Broadway shows. Sounds great, but here are the downers, and let me know if you agree or if I am just being stupid, it would be a bunch of teenagers, a few older married couples, and me. (One of these things is not like the other) I kind of feel caught between both worlds, would it just be awkward and I might spend half the time being annoying to the girls, and the other half of the time being annoying to the leaders? Is that worth $300 dollars or should I just get over it?

Dilemma #2:
Lee told me that he wanted to take me to Les Miserables (which I love) for my birthday. But I don't get to see Les Mis if I go to NY because that will take the place of Les Mis. So Les Mis with Lee, or NY with everyone else?

What should I do?

Dilemma #3:

American Idol auditions are in NJ (4.5 hours away) on a random Tuesday in August. I really want to try out and if I am going to do it, this is my year, but its so far and it could be a costly trip just to go up there and try out for American Idol, is that just stupid to spend the money when the chances of getting past the first couple auditions are very slim? Does anyone know how they do it. I know you have to stand in line forever etc. What would Kenzie and Lee do? Does anyone know anyone in NJ that wouldn't mind taking us in for a day or two? I looked at the cost of hotels, and the ones in our price range were in the Bronx, not so much where I want to stay. Any thoughts on this one?

4th of July Weekend

Once again we took a trip down to Richmond to spend time on the 4th with Grandma and Grandpa. And once again we had a great time. We ate steaks and burgers all weekend, seems appropriate for the holiday weekend. We went to the river. Kenzie loved the river, she thinks she can just go anywhere and do anything. She did manage to stick her entire head in the water, she screamed every time we tried to remove her from the river. Who knew she was a river rat. I on the other hand was a little grossed out by the quality of water, lets just say the whole ride home I was itching but I am also sure that the itching was all mental. We had a great time at the river though.

We also watched Be kind Rewind starring Jack Black, and I have to say that I liked it. I enjoyed that 1.5 hours of my life. And of course we saw the fire works which didn't start until 10, Kenzie was kinda losing it by then. Who else thinks they should start earlier, come on it is plenty dark at 9:15 and I know I wasn't the only one there with small kids. Happy Birthday America, we love your birthday weekend.

Fisher Price ain't got nothin on me

Recently a friend of mine pimped out her playroom. After I got home I told Lee "I want a pimped out playroom." He just laughed, it would be an investment if we wanted to pimp out our playroom, or start a playroom for that matter. Poor Makenzie only has baby toys. That is just something Lee and I don't buy, toys. I mean she would play with them for a week and then she wouldn't like them anymore.. so needless to say when you come to our house play time can be kind of weak. But you can run around my house screaming and pulling stuff out of drawers, that is what Kenzie does as least. So I decided in my efforts to pimp my playroom I would build Kenzie a kitchen. With a little help from some cardboard boxes, gift wrap, tape and a few nick-nacks from around the house, we have ourselves a kitchen. So maybe Lee and I can spring for some of that fake food and some fake cooking ware so Kenzie can actually play with her kitchen. We're working on a fridge next.

We are finally moved in

So June has been crazy because we packed up our lives and moved again. This time across the street. Was it worth it. I think yes. We gained a lot more square footage, better location, a nice deck. The list goes on. We are happy to be here. Here are just a few pictures of life in June.

This could be one of the saddest days ever

So I used to have 6 nalgene bottles. 6, no joke, at one time. (I won't go into the long saga of each of them) I am down to one that has no lid. What happened. Lately I've been really frustrated because I can't find a single water bottle. I am an advocate for saving the environment I never use the disposable water bottles. Why would I do that when I can fill up my own. We have a Costco pack of water bottles for emergencies, well this week I broke down and had to open it. Last week I was down to 1.5 nalgene bottles and my $2000 dollar hospital water bottle which I love that had a nice straw. Now I am down to the topless nalgene. I don't know where my black nalgene (Matrix) went and today my heart broke.
So I got this $2000 dollar water bottle when I gave birth to Makenzie, it was my hospital water bottle the great big fat ones with the straw, it has been like a second child to me. I have used it everyday since Makenzie was born, and recently Makenzie took a liking to it because it has that great straw. Well a few days ago we took it to the pool and left it there. So naturally I went back today and asked the life guard if he had seen my water bottle. He looked a little confused when I was asking for it so I started to describe it, green, cool straw etc. He gave me an evil stare and said in his russian accent "I trashed it!" I was like "no, I don't think you understand, it wasn't a little plastic bottle that you throw away." "I trashed it." I felt like Rocky in Rocky 4 when Drago says in his Russian accent (coincidence I think not) "I crush you!" My heart shattered into a million pieces and I almost ran off the other way crying. Instead I held it together and tried to figure out why he didn't just put it in the little pool room and wait for someone to come get it. I mean who throws away a real water bottle?
So like I said I am down to 1 completely useless nalgene and for that reason had to break into my emergency stash. When you see me drinking out of my Kirkland signatures this week, don't judge me, I promise to recycle them, at least until Matrix finds his way home.

Consider this an invite to our summer

So Lee and I decided that we needed to make a list of things to do this summer so instead of the usual "what do you want to do?" "I don't know, what do you want to do?" We will be taking part in some very fun things. Consider yourselves invited to come, just let me know and I'll tell you when we actually do it. If anyone has good info on any of the following let me know, ie. where to do some of this stuff.

1. Saturday the Fairfax Fair is going down.
2. Go to the Reston Water Park
3. Baby loves Disco (Baltimore)
4. Fishing Burke Lake
5. BBQ's
6. Sterling has a putt-putt batting cage place I guess
7. Hiking
8. Camping
9. Ocean City
10. Virginia Beach
11. Visit Richmond
12. Try out for American Idol
13. Go to Orlando and swim with dolphins
14. Visit SLC
15. Possibly see Les Miserables at Wolf Trap
